About the Award:
Since 1970, awards for outstanding book design, production, and manufacturing have been presented at the Publishing Professionals Network Book Show. The judges are experienced in design, production, and related areas. The PPN Book Show is one of the largest and most prestigious events of its kind in the United States. All book projects that receive awards are showcased in the annual catalog, which is distributed to attendees at the Book Show and Awards Event, and on the PPN website. They are also announced in press releases to the trade press.
The WSRA (The Wisconsin State Reading Association) Children's Literature Committee members dedicate themselves to reading widely in order to evaluate the newest books published each year. This is done to recommend the most interesting and valuable books for educators and children to read. The committee considers titles published during the 15 months prior to the convention calendar year and evaluates books based on the quality of the literature, the appeal for students, and the value for classroom use. The committee creates two lists to help educators select titles for use in their specific areas. The "Just One More Page" list highlights the committee's recommendations for the best of the newest chapter books through eighth grade, while "Picture This" highlights the recommendations for the best of the newest picture books.

The Italian edition of my book NO has been the recipient of this year's Nati Per Leggere (Born to Read) Award!!! This award aims to support the best editorial production for preschoolers in Italy and to recognize the creativity and commitment to the Born to Read project.
The national programme “Nati per Leggere” is meant to inspire an early interest in books and reading. The project is supported by the Italian Library Association (AIB), the association of pediatricians (ACP) and the child health centre (Centro per la Salute del Bambino, CSB).
